Shishito pepper (Shishitōgarashi) is a mildly spicy, East Asian pepper variety of the species Capsicum annuum. It is known as kkwari-gochu (; ''groundcherry pepper'') in Korea because its wrinkled surface resembles groundcherries.
The pepper is small and finger-long, slender, and thin-walled.
